Men's Soccer
The Europe qualifier tournament is the U21 Euros.
Belgium, as Group I winners, have joined Romania and Georgia in the final tournament next summer
Austria, Belarus, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine are all still in contention to join them (Russia, although banned from competing at the moment, are still in contention as well)
*Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland are the current frontrunners for automatic qualification
Women's Soccer
The CONCACAF W Championship, which will take place in July, will be the CONCACAF qualifier.
The qualifier tournament will wrap up on Tuesday to determine which six teams will join Canada and the United States in the final field.
The current frontrunners are Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, and Panama.
However, the following teams are all still in contention: Barbados, Bermuda, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago
Aquatic Sports
Swimming will take place at La Defense Arena, or Arena 92 with the IOC's no-sponsorship rule. Diving, artistic swimming and water polo will take place at a separate venue- the newly-built and permanent Paris Aquatics Center
The Point D'Iena will host marathon swimming in addition to being a venue for triathlon, road cycling, racewalk and marathon competitions. Point D'Iena, whose grandstand will be disassembled after the games, is on the same river (the Seine) that hosted competition at the second modern Games in 1900
Road Cycling
The road races will be August 3rd and 4th while the time trials will be July 27th
